CAMPAIGN: Restoring gates and railings to make a playground safe

Another essential improvement that took a long time to achieve – we were asking for it for over five years – was restoring gates and railings to make the former adventure playground dog-free and safe for children.

The original railings were removed under protest at the time, and we received numerous complaints ever since about children being contaminated by dog fouling.

Now at long last the parks police have authority to remove dogs from this area, and people with children can close the new gates and have peace of mind.
